AI intelligence explodes: ChatGPT o3 reaches top 1% human IQ

OpenAI's latest model "o3" (GPT-4o) has achieved a score of 136 on a public Mensa IQ test. This corresponds to the intelligence level of the intelligent 1% of humanity. This is not an internal benchmark, but a genuine, freely accessible Mensa Norway IQ test, which is traditionally used for people with a gifted profile.

But even more impressive: even on a completely new, previously unknown IQ test developed by TrackingAI in collaboration with Mensa members (to exclude training data), the model achieved an IQ of 116 - still well above average and comparable to the top 15% of the population.

From 96 to 136 - in just 11 months

In 2024, the best AI models on the same test had an IQ of 96 - below average. Today, not even a year later, we are at a constant value of 136 with GPT-4o. That's not slow growth. It's an explosion.
